Brand & Logo Refresh

A consolidated visual identity for Martin - logo, favicon, social card, docs header - from someone with a professional design background.

The current logo, contributed by @wayofthefuture in martin#1959, is a great head start to build on. As maintainers, we ship Rust and tiles - Brand design is not our home turf.

As far as anyone can tell, “Martin” was not picked to mean anything in particular — but we think it should be. Purple martins are genuinely cool birds, and adopting one as the namesake gives a new identity something real to grow from. The linked drawing is loose inspiration, not a brief.

The maintainers consider this the highest-impact initiative a sponsor could currently underwrite on Martin’s roadmap: a one-off, bounded spend whose impact compounds across every touchpoint - docs, frontend, slides, social, GitHub avatar - for years.
